City looking to fill Planning Commission vacancy

The city of Woodinville is seeking candidates to fill a vacant seat on the Planning Commission. Commissioners are appointed by the city council and will serve in an advisory role.

Commissioners are currently meeting virtually once a month due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Planning Commission advises the city council on topics related to long-range planning, capital project planning, land use, and commercial development. The selected candidate will be appointed to Commission Position No. 400 to serve out a partial term expiring July 1, 2021. Commissioners have the option to reapply for additional four-year terms.

 To be considered you must be a resident of the city of Woodinville and submit a completed application by Mar.23, 2021. Interviews will be conducted at the April 6 city council meeting. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. and will be held remotely via Microsoft Teams.
